Deobrat Mishra is an Indian Surbahar, Sitar, and music composer. He is an exponent of the Banares Gharana school of Hindustani classical music.

The Son of Pandit Shivnath Mishra, the legendary Sitar & Surbahar artist from this Gharana. Deobrat has an energetic and innovative playing style, with typical features like selectivity, melody, and rhythmic complexity.

His playing style is very original and unique in the sense that he plays on Surbahar, in a unique style.

Since 1994 he has been touring throughout Europe with his father. In the same year.

Deobrat also gave music workshop on Indian classical music at:

Vienna University, Milan music Conservatory, Vicenza(Italy) Conservatory and also many other music schools and universities he gave lectures on Indian classical music.
